Virat Kohli, ace India batter and T20 World Cup 2024 winner, is stuck in Barbados along with his teammates even after the recently-concluded T20 World Cup 2024, owing to Hurricane Beryl causing immense destruction in the island nation. Due to travel restrictions, the Indian team, the support staff and their respective families are confined to their hotel, where the whole contingent is staying. Interestingly, amidst all the chaos, a viral video on social media shows Virat Kohli on a video call with someone and is showing the live visuals of the Hurricane Beryl.


However, it is not confirmed who Virat Kohli is on a video call within the viral video, social media users claim that it is his wife Anushka Sharma. In the video, Virat Kohli can be seen at a sea-facing resort, standing on its balcony and showing the powerful waves and strong winds to the person he is on a video call with. In the video, he moves from one side of the balcony to the other, capturing the intense scene of the Beryl storm.

Virat Kohli Shares A Heartfelt Post For Anushka Sharma


Kohli had also penned a heartfelt note to his wife Anushka Sharma on an Instagram post after India’s T20 World Cup 2024 victory. In the post, he expressed his gratitude to his wife highlighting that the World Cup victory is just as much hers at is his. This victory was a significant milestone for the Indian team and their fans. Kohli played a crucial role in India’s triumph with an anchoring knock of 76 runs  after India were struggling at 34/3 in the powerplay. His innings guided India to a competitive total of 176/7, which proved to be enough as South Africa managed only 169/8 in their 20 overs, resulting in a seven-run win for India.


"None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn’t be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it’s mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU," Virat Kohli wrote in the Instagram post, thanking his wife.
