T20 World Cup: India went off to a brilliant start after Afghanistan put them in to bat first. Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul did not lose their wicket for the -first 10 overs. In the 5th over of the match, Rohit Sharma hit Naveen-ul-Haq for a six over the long-off fence.
Incidentally, the Indian camp or the dug-out, as it is popularly known, was exactly placed at the same spot where Rohit Sharma's six landed. Rohit's six was dropped by skipper Virat Kohli in the dug-out.
Take a look at the video of the incident:
As you can see in the video, the six went straight towards team India's dugout. It was dropped there by Virat Kohli. To be fair to the skipper, it was a difficult one for him as he was wearing gloves. It was a fun moment for the ones sitting in the dug out.
It is a do-or-die game for India, and even a win cannot guarantee a place in the semi-final. Despite resounding wins over Australia and England in the warmup games of ICC Men's T20I World Cup, team India's defeat against Pakistan and New Zealand has almost knocked out the Men in Blue from the tournament.
At the time of writing this article, India had played 13 overs and had not lost a single wicket. India's score at the end of 13 overs was 119/0. This is a complete opposite of what we have been witnessing from the Indian batsmen.
