India's fast bowling duo of Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj were at their best in the first of the three-match ODI series against Australia at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday. After opting to bowl first, India had managed to bowl out Australia for 188 which set up the home team's win. Both Shami and Siraj picked three wickets apiece with the former ending up as the team's best bowler on the evening with figures of 3 for 17. Siraj too was impressive and scalped 3 wickets for 29 runs.

In response to Australia's batting efforts, India also found themselves in a bit of trouble as they lost early wickets, failing to find the answers to the questions being posed by Mitchell Starc and Marcus Stoinis. In the end though, KL Rahul's unbeaten 75 as India beat Australia by 5 wickets to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

After the match, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of a chat between the speedsters. During the interaction, Shami asks Siraj about his Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired 'Siuuu' celebration.

"My celebration is simple. I'm a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo so I try to follow him. When i castle a batter, I celebrate the wicket in that fashion, but if he is caught at fine leg or similar fielding position I don't do it," Siraj responds to Shami's answer.

However, it is Shami's response that has grabbed more eyeballs as he suggested that fast bowlers should be very careful with that kind of jump as it can cause an injury.

"Ek advice hain, acha baat hain aap kisi k fan hain. As a fast bowler aapko yeh jumpo se thoda sa duur rehna chahiye," Shami said.
