Days after India's defeat in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final at the Oval in London, young opener Shubman Gill met Manchester City stars Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. While India did get the desired result at the summit clash of the 2021-23 cycle, Man City are coming on the back of a historic season which saw them become just the second English club after Manchester United to complete a treble.
It is pertinent to note that City not only won the Premier League this season after it was Arsenal who had maintained their lead at the top of the table for the majority of the session but they went went on to clinch the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League to sign off what has been unbelievale campaign for them.
Posing with the Pep Guardiola managed side's midfielder Bruyne and strike Haaland, Gill, who identifies himself as a football fan shared pictures with them with the caption: "Congratulations @kevindebruyne and @erling.haaland for winning the treble🏆🏆🏆."

Gill was earlier in attendance at the FA Cup final between the two City rivals- City and United. It was City who emerged victorious in the fixture, beating the Red Devils 2-1 in what was an epic encounter. Ilkay Gundogan's first minute goal helped them take the lead before a Bruno Fernandes goal from the spot helped United equalise. However, City found a way to prevail with Gundogan scoring his second goal which proved to be the winner in the 51st minute.
In the UCL final against Inter Milan, Rodri's 68th minute goal was enough for City to be crowned the champions of Europe.
