Meanwhile, Dhawan has used innovative ways to engage with fans and entertain them by sharing fun posts and videos. In his recent post on social media, Dhawan posted a picture of himself wearing a funny wig. "Finally got some hair," the hard-hitting opener captioned the picture on Instagram.
A few days back, Dhawan had posted a video in which he, wife Aesha and his son Zoraver can be seen feeding hungry animals.
As Dhawan shared the video, he wrote that he feels proud of imparting such important lessons to son Zoraver.
"As a father, it's very important to teach my son the true values of life and one of them is to be kind to others, especially the ones in need. Feeding hungry animals during these tough times are important and I feel proud imparting such deep lessons to my son. Would request everyone to do their bit," Dhawan captioned the video on Instagram.
India's seasoned ODI opener Dhawan had also expressed his desire to win the IPL trophy for his home team. The hard-hitting opener said: "I always think of winning IPL, especially our team is so good. The vision becomes stronger day by day.
"Definitely we will win the IPL and bring the trophy home. The fans truly deserve it. They have always packed the stadiums, supported us throughout. We did so well we will keep bettering from here on."
