The Pakistan cricket team had to face the wrath of cricket fans and experts following their World Cup 2019 fiasco. A lot was talked about the intent of the players but one who remained under fire for the most numbers of times was skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed.

The Pakistani captain was badly trolled on social media for his fitness and physique. The fans slammed him brutally and termed him an inefficient leader with an inappropriate appearance.

Even Shoaib Akhtar, the former legendary speedster, came down hard on Sarfaraz’s fitness and pointed out the difficulty faced by him on the field.

Months later, a picture surfaced on social media and things weren’t the same at all. It was Sarfaraz in the frame posing with his Sri Lankan counterpart Lahiru Thirinmane ahead of the ODI series that begins from Friday.

The 32-year-old looked much better than before, fitter than what people witnessed months ago in England. This version of Sarfaraz took the fans by surprise and they couldn’t resist themselves from showering praises.

A Pakistani journalist claimed that the Pakistani skipper has sweated hard to achieve this level of fitness. He claimed that Sarfaraz lost almost 10 kilos of weight before getting into the home series against Sri Lanka.

Even newly-appointed head coach Misbah-ul-Haq acknowledged Sarfarz’s hard word which caused this transformation. After all, he was one who banned biryani and other unhealthy stuff from the diet plan of Pakistani cricketers.
