On this day in 2012, Sachin Tendulkar became the first man on the planet to score 100 centuries in world cricket. A sought of a record that seems like it never would be broken. It was a ODI match between India and Bangladesh on 16 March 2012 that ended a 369 day long wait for the Indian fans to see the master blaster score his 100th ton. Exactly 23 matches were played by Sachin between his 99th and 100th century.

Nonetheless, Tendulkar scored 114 off 147 balls in a match where India scored 289 runs. Unfortunately for India, Bangladesh chased down that total, thus the memory of 100 100’s for Sachin is a bitter-sweet one.

Currently, some ex-Indian players are involved in playing in the Road Safety World T20 series. In what looks like a hotel lobby in Raipur, the India legend players are seen cutting the cake and celebrating Sachin Tendulkar’s 100 centuries on the ninth anniversary of the event.

Pragyan Ojha who is also a part of the India Legends side made a video of the celebration and uploaded it on his Twitter account. Check out the video:

Ex-cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan and others are visible in Ojha’s video. Every Indian individual who saw the match would remmeber the moment and would savour it for the years to come. This was the last century which Sachin Tendulkar scored ever in his career.
