New Delhi: Amid the ongoing Road Safety World Series, India Legends captain and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar was seen trying his hand at cooking at his team hotel in Indore after the match was washed out at the Holkar Stadium on Monday, September 19.

After the match against New Zealand Legends, Sachin was seen showing his cooking skills by wearing a batting pad at the hotel. Sachin, popularly known as the 'Lord of Cricket', has shared a video on his Instagram, in which he is seen trying to make his special dish omelette. The great batsman wrote in the caption of this video, "𝙵𝚕𝚒𝚌𝚔𝚜 𝚑𝚘 𝚢𝚊 𝚏𝚕𝚒𝚙𝚜, 𝚎𝚐𝚐𝚜-𝚊𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚎 𝚑𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜𝚑𝚊 𝚙𝚎𝚛𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝 𝚑𝚘𝚗𝚊 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚒𝚢𝚎".

India's match against New Zealand Legends was called-off after just 5.5 overs as rain played spoilsport on Monday. However, Tendulkar showed a heartwarming gesture by taking a lap around the ground as he greeted his fans who had come to watch the match.

After the cancellation of the match, Sachin Tendulkar took a round of the entire ground and greeted the spectators who came to watch the match. Even after 9 years of retirement, the magic of Sachin remains intact and the slogan of "Sachin-Sachin" as soon as he comes to the field reminds him of the old days.

Earlier, during the Kanpur leg, Sachin was also seen giving tips in the kitchen with the chef. After the match between India Legends and West Indies Legends in Kanpur leg was canceled due to rain, Sachin told Chef Balram about his special dish Anda Bhujia and Khichdi. Brian Lara was also with him at that time.

Tendulkar batted well and played some fancy shots and hit 4 boundaries during his 13-ball 19 not out before it started raining in Indore. He also played a Dil-scoop against Kyle Mills.  Tendulkar has amassed 15,921 runs in Tests and has got 18,426 runs in the ODIs.  He has scored a total of 34,357 runs in international cricket across all formats.
