Team India are gearing up for a three-match Test series against New Zealand. Ahead of the first Test of the series, the Men in Blue had a surprise visitor in Rahul Dravid who made an appearance during India's training session. Notably, Dravid was associated as the head coach of the side till the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 with his final match as the head of the coaching staff being the India vs South Africa final which India ended up winning to end their ICC title drought.


Dravid then spent time interacting with some of the players including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant in Bengaluru. The video of Dravid talking to the players went viral on social media with fans getting reminded of the times he was the head coach where India achieved remarkable success and eventually ended up bagging the trophy.

Rahul Dravid Seemingly Offers Batting Tips To Indian Players


In the viral clip, Dravid can be seen seemingly offering batting tips to the Indian players. The ex-India captain makes some batting gestures which seems to suggest so. India are set to play three Tests against New Zealand before a five-match Test tour of Australia.

As far as Dravid is concerned, after a hectic stint as the head coach of Team India, Dravid has joined Rajasthan Royals (RR) franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as their head coach. This marks another homecoming of sorts for the 51-year-old who has previously played for, captained and even mentored the side. He was even their Director of Cricket in 2015 and 2016. Fans are looking forward to see what Dravid will be able to bring to the table this time around as their coach.
