New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils faced another blow as their star wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock has been ruled out of Indian Premier League 10.  The South Africa international suffered an injury to his right index finger during the Protea’s second test match against New Zealand.

However, de Kock will play in the third Test match against New Zealand, which begins on Saturday in Hamilton.

The 24-year-old cricketer will at least need 4 weeks to recover and Cricket South Africa has ruled him out of IPL 2017 in order to make him available before the Champions Trophy in 2017.

This comes as big blow to the Delhi Daredevils after JP Duminy decided to pull out of the tournament citing personal reasons.

The Indian premier league begins on 5 April 2017 and the final is scheduled to be played on 21May 2017.
