On Tuesday, Rajasthan Royals speedster Prasidh Krishna got engaged to Rachana Krishna. The Rajathsan-based franchise posted a picture of the couple where Prasidh was spotted lifting Rachana during the engagement ceremony. Both of them were donning ethnic wear during the traditional ceremony.

Talking about Prasidh’s IPL 2023 stint, he missed out on playing the entire IPL because of a stress fracture. Earlier, the Royals retained him for Rs 10 crore ahead of the mini-auction because of his terrific performance with the ball during the IPL 2022 campaign. He scalped 19 wickets in 17 matches he played at an economy of economy rate of 8.29 and helped RR reach the final in that edition.
In the IPL 2023 season, Sandeep Sharma replaced him. But then he failed to fill in the void left by Krishna as he returned with only 10 wickets in 12 games at an economy rate of 8.60. Krishna has not featured in competitive cricket since India’s ODI tour of Zimbabwe in August 2022.
After having surgery, the Karnataka-based pacer is still recuperating and will be looking to regain his fitness ahead of the 2023 World Cup. While playing for India, the right-arm pacer has taken 25 wickets in 14 ODIs, including two five-wicket hauls against England and West Indies.
Talking about the Rajasthan Royals stint, they failed to qualify for the IPL 2023 playoffs and ended up finishing fifth with 14 points in seven games.
