Phoebe Litchfield Viral 'Raygun' Pose: Phoebe Litchfield is enjoying a memorable T20I series against New Zealand Women, as the Australia Women batsman was the Player of the Match in the 1st T20I, and has now grabbed a stunning match in the 2nd T20I.

However, it is not the quality of the catch that is making waves all over the internet, but the pose the Australian cricketer created during the completion of the match, as the clip of the catch is now going viral.

The pose is being compared with that of 'Raygun' who is an Australian dancer and competes in the break dance category. The Olympian made waves  by appearing in the break dance event at the Paris Olympics 2024 and became an internet sensation ever since.

Australia Women put on a stunning display with the ball, as they comfortably defended 142 to register a 29-run win.

"Yeah good to be back. I think it is one of those things, a freak accident. Obviously Wareham and I got a bit too eager in the warm-up. Having a head collision is probably not common in cricket. It was just the protocols, making sure I am fine to play and I felt like I have been in a really good place in the last couple of days," said Ashleigh Gardner, who was awarded the Player of the Match.

"Yeah definitely, I think we played well. A few short with the bat there to be honest. Slipped a little bit with a few wickets in clusters in the middle. But on the flip side, our bowling was magnificent tonight. Everyone who got the ball in hand, did the job," added the Australian.

"For the Sixers, I am but not when she (Amelia Kerr) is playing for the Kiwis. But yeah, she has her infamous wrong'un that clearly none of us picked tonight. She is one the key players with both bat and ball. Need to have a clear mindset coming up against someone of that quality," she further added.

Here's What The Two Captains Said During Post-Match Presentation Ceremony

Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain):

"I think so. It's nice to get back on the field. Disappointed that we couldn't get across the line But we know it's hard to beat this Australian team. We certainly thought that we could chase it down if we played good cricket shots. The wicket could get better with the dew around but failed to capitalize. Amelia Kerr is brilliant. She is great with her stock balls and it was incredible to see her do her thing."

Alyssa Healy (Australia Women Captain):

Yeah, we know she is going to bring consistency. She (Mooney) has been world number one in this format. Great person in the group. Bowlers did an outstanding job tonight. I am not sure, I will be able to answer that. We will see if we have any niggles in the squad and decide on the game day."
