Pakistan vs England: Pakistan are taking on England in the second Test match of the three-match Test series at the Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on October 15. While Pakistan put on over 500 runs in the first innings of the series opener only to become the first team in the histor of Test cricket to lose a match from that situation, the Men in Green were in a spot of bother when they were reduced to 19/2 inside the 10-over mark with both the wickets falling to Jack Leach.

However, the home team has recovered from the early setback, thanks to efforts from Saim Ayub and debutant Kamran Ghulam with both the batters having already scored respective half-centuries at the time of writing this news. The two batters have put on over a 100-run stand already in what is a good recovery from the Pakistan batter at a venue which has traditionally favoured the batters.

Kamran Ghulam scored a fine half-century on debut. As his first-class average of over 49 suggests, this is common territory for the 29-year-old who has over 4000 runs in red-ball cricket in 98 innings before his Test debut.
