Even fans can feel the nerves as the India vs Pakistan (IND Vs PAK) T20 World Cup 2024 clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York draws near on Sunday (June 9). The arch-rivals do not play bilateral cricket anymore and meet only in ICC contests which is what makes these clashes, although rare, much anticipated in nature.

Despite a lot of talk about the match, on cricketing rationale India seem miles ahead of their opponents on current form. Pakistan have struggled big time and even succumbed to a shock-defeat against the United States of America (USA) in their tournament opener. Even on head-to-head record in T20 World Cup history, Pakistan have beaten India only once with the Men in Bue coming out on top on all other occasions.

"As soon as Babar Azam scored a hundred the next day you’ll see comparisons with Virat Kohli. Virat k jute k barabar bhi nahi hai," Kaneria told IANS prior to the high-voltage fixture at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
