Matthew Hayden, the former Australia cricketer, is one of the commentators in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 in the United States of America (USA) and the Caribbean Islands. He was on air during Australia's fixture against Ashes rivals England at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday, June 8.
While Hayden usually makes a lot of sense while talking cricket and is a renowned cricket expert, sharing his insights from world cricket in general and Australian cricket in particular, during one particular instance during the Australia vs England fixture, Hayden's hilarious slip of tongue, very uncharacteristic of him, left his co-commentators in splits.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, Hayden was on air with Mitchell Starc running in to bowl the fifth ball of his first over. While describing the passage play, Hayden mixed up 'sex' and 'sixes' on air. That was enough to spark a burst of laughter from his co-commentators with one of them even asking to repeat what he had said.
