A picture has gone viral on the internet which is directly linked to India's T20 World Cup-winning campaign in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies. While India had not won a single International Cricket Council (ICC) title since 2013 and T20 World Cup since the inaugural edition of 2007, Rohit Sharma & Co. ended the drought by beating South Africa in a thrilling final to lift the Trophy.
A question was asked in the Odhisha Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Exam from the Men in Blue's unbeaten run in that ICC tournament. The question read: "Who was the player of the tournament in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2024?" with the four options being provided being- (A) Surykumar Yadav, (B) Virat Kohli, (C) Jasprit Bumrah and (D) Kuldeep Yadav.

Who Was The Player Of The Tournament In T20 World Cup 2024?
The correct answer for the above mentioned question was not too difficult for the hardcore Indian cricket fan. It was Indian speedster Jasprit Bumrah who was the Player Of the Tournament in India's T20 World Cup-winning run earlier in the year.

The right-arm fast bowler scalped 15 wickets from 8 innings at a splendid average of 8.26. In the shortest format of the game in this format, Bumrah was extremely miserly with the ball and conceded runs at an economy of 4.17.
Given Bumrah's value to the team and the fact that he plays all the three formats, he was rested from the Sri Lanka tour. He is likely to be included in the two-match home Test series against Bangladesh.
