The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the revised schedule of the ODI Cricket World Cup set to commence on October 5. As many as nine matches, including the India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK) fixture at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has been rescheduled. The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan fixture which was originally supposed to happen on October 15 will now be played at the same venue on October 14 (Saturday).

The following fixtures have been rescheduled:

10 October - England vs Bangladesh – Dharamsala – 10h30 (IST)
10 October - Pakistan vs Sri Lanka – Hyderabad – 14h00 (IST)
12 October - Australia vs South Africa – Lucknow – 14h00 (IST)
13 October – New Zealand vs Bangladesh – Chennai – 14h00 (IST)
14 October – India vs Pakistan – Ahmedabad – 14h00 (IST)
15 October - England vs Afghanistan – Delhi – 14h00 (IST)
11 November – Australia vs Bangladesh – Pune – 10h30 (IST)
11 November – England vs Pakistan – Kolkata – 14h00 (IST)
12 November – India vs Netherlands – Bengaluru – 14h00 (IST)


Meanwhile, an official release has also confirmed that tickets will go on sale in phases to give as many fans as possible the best chance to watch the matches. While the sale of non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches will be made live on August 25,  on August 30, tickets of India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum can be purchased.





On August 31, tickets of India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune will go live. From September 1, tickets of India games in Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai can be purchased while on September 2, India matches in Bengaluru and Kolkata ticket sales will be made live. India fixtures in Ahmedabad will see their tickets made live on September 3. Tickets for semi-finals and final will go live on September 15.
