Virender Sehwag semi-finalists for 2023 ODI World Cup: The schedule of the ICC Men's 2023 ODI World Cup has been announced. The first match of the mega cricket event will be played between England and New Zealand on October 5. Meanwhile, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has made a big prediction, picking four teams that can reach ODI World Cup 2023 semi-finals.

 


 

ICC CEO Geoff Allardyce, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, former Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and former explosive opener Virender Sehwag were present during the schedule launching event of the 2023 ODI World Cup. In the launching event itself, Sehwag picked four teams to reach the semi-finals.

 

During the event, Sehwag opined which four teams will enter the semi-finals in the World Cup this time. According to Sehwag, England, India, Pakistan and Australia are the teams who can reach the semi-finals of ODI World Cup 2023 this year.






Reserve day kept for semi-finals and finals of ODI World Cup 2023 in India


The first semi-final match of the 2023 ODI World Cup will be played in Mumbai on November 15. The second semi-final will be played in Kolkata on November 16. After this, the title match will be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. If the semi-finals or final match gets washed out due to rain, then the match will be held the next day as ICC has kept the reserve day rule for the semi-finals and finals.
