Rajasthan Royals star batsman Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 70-run knock against Chennai Super Kings on Monday to help his team attain a 7-wicket win. On the pitch of Abu Dhabi, where the rest of the batsmen were struggling to score runs, Butler batted brilliantly. After the match, he was also honored with the Man of the Match award for fabulous innings. It was Butler's first IPL 2020 award.


Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni made the day more memorable for Buttler by gifting him his 200th IPL match jersey. Buttler will now surely remember this match throughout his life. His photo with Dhoni's jersey was shared on the official Twitter handle of IPL and Rajasthan Royals.

Remarkably, Chennai Super Kings had set a target of 126 runs for Rajasthan Royals after winning the toss and opting to bat first in this match. In the match for Chennai Super Kings, all their star players like Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu failed. Ravindra Jadeja scored the highest 35 runs for CSK, while Dhoni also scored 28 runs.


Rajasthan did not get a good start in the run-chase. Players like Ben Stokes, Robin Uthappa and Sanju Samson returned to the pavilion when RR' scoreboard read just 28. After this, Steve Smith and Jose Butler scored an unbeaten partnership of 98 runs for the fourth wicket to guide their team to victory. Skipper Smith played a crucial innings of 26 off 34 balls during this period.
