MLC 2024 Updated Points Table & Most Runs, Wickets List: San Francisco Unicorns (SFU) defeated Seattle Orcas (SOR) by six wickets on July 21 (As per the Indian Standard Time) at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas in the 18th match of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) season 2024. With their victory, San Francisco Unicorns have secured a top-2 finish and have also propelled Texas Super Kings into the playoffs. Seattle Orcas, on the other hand, become the first team to be eliminated from the MLC 2024, leaving MI New York and the LA Knight Riders to battle for the final playoff spot.
SFU won the toss and opted to bowl first and batting first, SOR faced the worst possible start as they lost two wickets on the first two balls of the match. Ryan Rickelton and Aaron Jones fell on consecutive deliveries by SFU’s Carmi le Roux. With the help of Quinton de Kock’s 66-run knock and contributions from Shehan Jayasuriya and Shubham Ranjane, SOR posted the total of 152-7 in 20 overs.

Chasing the target, SFU’s Finn Allen gave the team a thunderous start with a 30-ball 77 runs knock. SFU ultimately chased the target in just 14.2 overs having lost only four wickets.
