Brisbane Heat's star all-rounder Michael Neser has been a revelation this season for the side as his all-round antics helped Heat pull off one of the most dominant BBL campaigns in recent times. Suchb has been his excellence in every department that the Australian has made a strong case for his potential selection in the national side for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in June in the countries of West Indies and USA.

Michael Neser was on the mark again in the final, not with the bat, but with the ball and most importantly, in the field as he, ye again this season, produced a sublime effort that can be the catch of the season.

"It was purely a reflex thing. I was running hard on the boundary and realized that I was close to the boundary rope. Just lobbed it away to Walter. We have put in a lot of hard work this season. After losing in the final last year, we thought a lot about it and what went wrong. But, really happy to win the title," said a joyous Michael Neser in post match presentation.
