Brisbane Heat Vs Sydney Sixers Final Match Report

Electing to bowl first, the Sydney Sixers were off a flyer at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney as the side gave home fans the perfect start by dismissing Jimmy Pearson within the first over as the wicketkeeper batsman was dismissed on a paltry score of 4 runs.

However, things started going south for the Sixers as they committed a blunder by dropping last matc's centurion Josh Brown on individual score of 3. The drop proved to be highly costly as the opening batsman went on to score a brilliant half-century, before being dismissed on 53 by Steve O'Keefe.

Brisbane Heat have been by far the best bowling side of the edition and they showed no signs of slowing down and gave the home crowd a huge heartbreak by dismissing the highly dangerous Daniel HUghes wihtin thefirst over and the Sixers couldn't recover from thesetback as four wickets from man of the match Spencer Johnson and rest of the wickets from other bowlers budled Sixers out for 112 as Heat registered a famous victory by defeating the home team by 54 runs.
