Lok Sabha Polls 2024: Former India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and his son Arjun cast their votes during Phase 5 of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections on Monday, May 20, in Mumbai. Team India's star T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav and Test specialist Ajinkya Rahane also cast their votes, urging citizens to fulfill their duty as voters.

Ajinkya Rahane shared a picture with his wife on social media as the duo flaunted their inked fingers after casting votes in Mumbai.


Sharing a picture on social media, Rahane wrote: "We did our duty. Have you?"






Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar, after casting his vote, urged everyone to casting their votes.


"They (people) must make the effort unless somebody is very seriously ill. But I think they must make the effort to cast the vote because it is their government and their vote is going to be important," Gavaskar told media persons.






The Lok Sabha 2024 elections are being conducted in seven phases, from April 19 to June 1. The counting of votes and the declaration of results will take place on June 4.
