New Delhi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli is well known in the cricket circuit for his strict fitness regime. Along with hours of training on the field, Virat consistently spends time in the gym to maintain his chiselled physique. But only gym and training has not been behind the world best batsman’s success. Fitness freak Virat is also known for maintaining a strict diet. Numerous interviews in recent times have revealed that the 29-year-old is very particular about what he eats.


But on Sunday, ahead of must-win encounter against table toppers SunRisers Hyderabad, Virat took a day off from his strict eating schedule offering himself along with his teammates taste of delicious Hyderabadi biryani.


Post the practice session, Virat, along with a few members of the RCB squad reached Mohammed Siraj's home to enjoy a delicious dinner.


A video uploaded on social media shows Virat Kohli along with Sarfaraz Khan, Manan Vorah, Parthiv Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal enjoying Hyderabadi biryani at Siraj's home at Tolichowki. Members of the squad were also offered patthar ka gosht, korma, khoobani ka mertha and double ka meetha besides biryani.



Mohammed Siraj is a Hyderabad local who was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping INR 2.6 crores in the 2018 auctions.


Siraj comes from a lower middle-class family; his father drove an auto-rickshaw for a living.
