Is Bollywood star Athiya Shetty dating team India's star cricketer KL Rahul? Athiya Shetty sort of confirmed dating the star wicket-keeper batsman on his 28th birthday in the month of April, by posting an adorable picture with him but it was her caption that stole the show. "Happy birthday, my person," Athiya captioned the photo with a heart emoji. KL Rahul had then responded to Athiya's birthday wish with three heart emojis.


While this got the fans talking on social media, there has been no official confirmation or denial of any possible relationship status by either Athiya or Rahul.


On Thursday, Rahul posted a comment which again got their fans excited. Reacting to stunning picture on Instagram shared by Athiya on Wednesday, the star batsman wrote "Jefa" with a heart emoji.

Rumours of Athiya Shetty dating KL Rahul surfaced last year when the cricketer posted a picture with Athiya on her birthday. In an interview, Athiya's father Sunil Shetty had said, "I love Ahan's girlfriend and I love whom Athiya is seeing. I do not have a problem with that, Mana (Suniel Shetty's wife) doesn't have a problem with that and they are happy."

Many cricket experts have hailed KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant as the heir to team India's former skipper MS Dhoni in white-ball cricket. With Dhoni announcing his retirement, KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant now have a chance to seal their position behind the stumps permanently.


However, KL Rahul has been highly impressive -- both with the bat and wicket-keeping gloves -- ever since replacing Rishabh Pant behind the stumps in ODIs and T20Is. Rahul will be next seen playing for franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the IPL 2020.
