Sanjana Ganesan, a well-known sports broadcaster and wife of Indian cricket team’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, responded strongly to a troll who attempted to body shame her. In a fitting reply, Sanjana asked the troll to "bhago yaha se (get lost)" after being referred to as fat. Sanjana Ganesan and Jasprit Bumrah welcomed their baby boy a few months ago. The sports presenter is currently in the process of losing the weight gained during her pregnancy, reflecting a common journey for many new mothers.

On February 12 (Monday), Sanjana Ganesan and her husband Jasprit Bumrah shared a video on their social media platforms as part of a collaboration with the beauty brand L'Oréal. This collaboration is themed around Valentine’s Day, which is celebrated on February 14.

A comment on the post read, "Bhabhi moti lg rhi hai" (Sister-in-law is looking fat), which triggered a strong response from Sanjana Ganesan. She schooled the troll, receiving praise from several others who joined her in criticising the person who made the original comment. The post, along with the subsequent comments, has gained widespread attention and gone viral on social media.

Sanjana replied, "School ki science textbook toh yaad hoti nahi hai tumse, bada auraton ke bodies ke baare mein comment kar raho. Bhaago yaha se.." (You can’t even memorise the science textbooks from school and here you are commenting on female body shapes, get lost from here.)

Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan tied the knot in March 2021. The couple welcomed their baby boy, Angad, in September 2023. Bumrah's outstanding performance, securing a match-winning nine-wicket haul in the 2nd IND vs ENG Test of the ongoing India vs England five-match series, played a pivotal role in helping India level the series at 1-1. This remarkable achievement came after England had won the 1st IND vs ENG Test in Hyderabad. Following his stellar performance against England in Vizag, Bumrah dedicated his Man of the Match award to his son, Angad.
