IPL 2021: The second part of Indian Premier League season 14 is set to begin from September 19. Star Sports, which has the broadcasting rights of IPL, has announced its commentary team for the second part of Season 14. Apart from English, Hindi, Star Sports has also set up a commentary team for other languages. 


Star Sports announced the names of its commentary team through Twitter. The English commentary team includes the names of legendary commentators like Sunil Gavaskar and Harsha Bhogle. Sanjay Manjrekar, who was part of the Sony Network panel, has however not been named in its commentary team by Star Sports. 



Parthiv Patel's name is also included in the Hindi commentary team. Parthiv Patel bid farewell to international cricket last year. Parthiv Patel, however, is also associated with the Mumbai Indians team.


Women players also clinch a place 


Women players have also received a significant place in the commentary team of Star Sports. The commentary panelist includes the names of two women cricketers Lisa Sthalekar and Anjum Chopra. Lisa has quite a good commentary experience, while Anjum Chopra has also been doing commentary for a long time.

Hindi Commentary Panel: Parthiv Patel, Akash Chopra, Irfan Pathan, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Jatin Sapru, Nikhil Chopra, Kiran More, Ajit Agarkar, and Sanjay Bangar.
