IPL 2021: Team India's last Test match against England in Manchester was cancelled. Meanwhile, three Mumbai Indians players Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav arrived in Abu Dhabi on a charter flight. Mumbai Indians had provided a charter flight to take three players as well as their families to UAE.


According to IPL guidelines, these players will have to remain quarantined for 6 days in UAE. RT-PCR tests of these players was done before leaving Manchester for Abu Dhabi and were tested even after landing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Both times test results have been found negative. After 6 days of quarantine, players can start practicing for IPL in UAE.


Efforts to bring players in UAE intensified


IPL teams have intensified their efforts to bring their players to the UAE after the fifth test between India and England was cancelled. All the teams want to bring their players to UAE as soon as possible. All the players are reaching UAE by private flight. So after reaching UAE, they have to be quarantined for 6 days.


Ind vs Eng Test match cancelled


The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) decided to cancel the fifth Test in Manchester. The reason behind this was told that Covid cases were reported in the Indian camp before the fifth match between India and England begun.
