Kings Eleven Punjab's nightmarish run in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) continued as they were handed a fourth straight loss in the season by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Game 22 played in Dubai.


KXIP’s fifth defeat in their six outing so far in the season meant that they continue to reel at the bottom end of the points table on the 8th position with just two points in the kitty. The 69-run trouncing at the hands of SRH has also adversely impacted KXIP's run rate which now stands at a disappointing (0.431)

Delhi Capitals And Mumbai Indians Occupy Top 2 Spots

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are now behind Mumbai Indians (MI)  and Delhi Capitals (DC) , who occupy the top two slots in the IPL 2020 points table. Both MI and DC have eight points each but the defending champions at at pole position with a superior run rate.

Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore with six points each are engaged in a mid table battle at the fourth and fifth spot respectively. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals who have blown hot and cold in the season so far are languishing in the bottom half of the table at sixth and seventh place respectively.

Delhi Capitals will have a chance to dethrone Mumbai Indians at the top of the points table when they take on Rajasthan Royals at Sharjah later in the evening. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals will have an opportunity to move up the table by upsetting favourites Delhi Capitals.
