Sunrisers Hyderabad have been one of the most consistent teams in the Indian Premier League over the past five years, winning the league in 2016 and making it to the playoffs thrice. SRH have been a constant challengers to the big guns like Mumbai Indian and Chennai Super Kings for the coveted IPL title.


Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will begin their IPL 13 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai on 21st September at 7:30 pm (IST). Their next match will see them take on Kolkata Knight Riders at Abu Dhabi on Sept 26. The 2016 champions will round of their round robin assignment against Mumbai Indians at Sharjah on November 3.

The Orange once again has the arsenal and depth to go the distance and for a second IPL title. They stuck to their core group of players in David Warner, Kane Williamson, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Manish Pandey Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi.

While they released Shakib Al Hassan and they acquired young talents like Priyam Garg (Rs 1.9 crore), Abdul Samad (Rs 20 lakh) and Virat Singh (Rs 1.9 crore) in the last IPL auction held in Kolkata to build a team for the future.

While the batting fortunes of the team will once again rest on David Warner, Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey, they will be looking forward to their Afghan spin twins in Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi to come to the party on the low and slow tracks in the United Arab Emirates.
