The fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is slated to begin from February 22. Ahead of the tournament, franchise Lahore Qalandars have traded ace West Indies spinner Sunil Narine with Quetta Gladiators which turned out to be the biggest trade of the tournament.

Narine picked up 10 wickets and scored 98 runs in the previous season which piled his trade in.

Apart from Narine, Umar Akmal is another player on the list who has been traded against right-arm fast bowler Rahat Ali. Akmal’s performance last season remained extremely disappointing as he scored only 57 runs from five matches at a shambolic average of 11.40 with a top score of 28. However, this season, he is all set to represent Gladiators alongside Narine.

On the other hand, Ali’s trade came as a huge surprise as he has the most lethal bowler for the Gladiators. He remained the highest wicket-taker for his team in the previous season, scalping 15 wickets from 11 matches at an economy rate of 7.60.
