Dhoni once again exhibited his modest and simplistic attitude which has made him an iconic figure among cricket fans all over the world. CSK's 'captain cool' was seen sleeping on the ground in the Chennai airport right next to his wife Sakshi soon after the match between Chennai and Kolkata Knight Riders on Tuesday where his side won to take pole position in the points table of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
After securing a comprehensive win over KKR, it was but obvious that the CSK players were tired and drained out. While all the players decided to just sit in the airport and wait for the flight to Jaipur for their next game against Rajasthan Royals, Dhoni made the most of the time and lay flat on the ground to take a quick nap. His wife Sakshi was also seen taking a nap alongside him.
Dhoni himself took to Instagram to post a snap of that moment, writing:
“After getting used to IPL timing this is what happens if u have a morning flight”
After Dhoni posted the pic on Instagram, Netizens were praises for the CSK skipper, hailed him as humble and down to earth despite achieving so much of success in his cricketing career.
The matches being played in this year’s edition of IPL are getting prolonged and the tournament is under heavy criticism for the duration of the matches. Several cricketers have voiced their concern regarding the issue.
