New Delhi: Mumbai Indians won the toss and invited Kings XI Punjab to bat first in the do-or-die encounter for the visitors at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai.



A win here at the Wankhede stadium will keep the Glenn Maxwell side in hunt for a spot in the IPL playoffs.



Kings XI Punjab have made one change to their squad with Indian pacer Ishant Sharma replacing Swapnil Singh while Mumbai Indians have unchanged squad from their defeat to Sunrisers in Hyderabad on Monday.



Kings XI Punjab have 12 points in as many games and stand 5th on the points table below Sunrisers Hyderabad who have 15 points from 13 matches while the Rohit Sharma led team will look to finish the group stage on top.
