Harmanpreet Kaur's side scored 201/5 in their 20 overs, which now stands as the highest ever score by India Women in their T20I history. This score also marks the first occasion, when a team crossed the 200-run mark in the T20I version of Women's Asia Cup. In short, India Women were simply successful in outclassing UAE Women and shattered their hopes of them restricting the Indian side under 150-160 once the side lost 3 wickets at the score of 52.
With a win today, India Women will all but ensure their passage into the semi finals, as the fixture between Pakistan Women and Nepal Women now becomes a virtual knockout.
