A case has been filed on the trespasser who jumped the barricade at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad to have a selfie with Virat Kohli on the first day of the 2nd Test against West Indies.

The man, identified as Mohammad Khan who hails from Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh, has been charged for allegedly breaching security cordon at the Uppal Stadium where the second cricket test match between India and West Indies is being played.

As stated by police inspector P Venkateswarlu, a case of trespassing was slapped against 19-year-old Mohammad Khan, who breached security cordon to get up close with Virat Kohli.

The incident happened on Friday during the 15th over of the 2nd Test. While Kohli was fielding at the mid-wicket area, an over-enthusiastic fan breached the security to take a selfie with him. The fan even tried to hug him and plant a kiss on the Indian star's cheek but was fortunately escorted off the field.

Kohli seemed to have got angry and tried to maintain his distance before the security personnel rushed at the spot to take the situation under control. With play delayed by the incident, the umpires called for the drinks break.
