IND vs WI 2nd ODI Highlights: Majority of fans anticipated that Rohit Sharma-led India would easily win the ODI series by a 3-0 margin, especially after visitors' thumping win in the series opener, but this isn't the case as hosts West Indies have bounced back in style. India, one of the favourites to win the ODI World Cup 2023 title this year, suffered a humiliating six-wicket loss against West Indies in 2nd ODI at Bridgetown in Barbados on Thursday to level three-match ODI series 1-1.

Since World Cup is less than 100 days away, India losing to a team that hasn't even qualified for the tournament comes as a huge setback.

Chasing a paltry182-run target for the win, Shai Hope (63 not out; 80 balls) and Keacy Carty (48 not out; 65b) put together a solid 91-run stand for fourth wicket, chasing down the target with 80 balls remaining. India's batting in absence of captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli looked feeble.

West Indies skipper Shai Hope won the toss and invited India to bat first. There were two rain delays but West Indies bowlers never let their intensity drop. In reply to 90-run stand for first wicket between Ishan Kishan (55 off 55 balls) and Shubman Gill (34 off 49 balls), Shepherd (3/37 in 8 overs) and Motie (3/36 in 9.3 overs) made sure that India lose five wickets for 23 runs in just 7.2 overs.

Stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya, Sanju Samson, Axar Patel all got out for single digit scores. Now, the series decider i.e. India vs West Indies 3rd ODI will be played in Tarouba on Tuesday. Team India is expected to perform much better in 3rd ODI as Hardik Pandya mentioned after the match that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will return in the playing XI for the series decider.
