In a blow to Sri Lanka's preparations for IND vs SL ODI series against India, pacers Matheesha Pathirana and Dilshan Madushanka have been ruled out due to injuries.

Pathirana has a shoulder injury, while Madushanka is dealing with a hamstring issue. Adding to Sri Lanka's woes, Dushmantha Chameera, who is unwell, and Nuwan Thushara, who fractured his thumb, will also miss IND vs SL ODI series. Both Chameera and Thushara had already been absent from the T20I series.
