India vs Pakistan ODI World Cup 2023 match schedule: The much-awaited IND vs PAK ODI World Cup 2023 match has reportedly been rescheduled. As per a report in India Today, India vs Pakistan WC match has been ‘advanced’ to October 14, a day before the original schedule of October 15. ABP Live can't independently verify this news. So far, neither the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or International Cricket Council (ICC) have made any official statement to confirm this news. BCCI is expected to make an official announcement regarding the changes in ODI World Cup 2023 schedule on July 31.

Last week, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that only the date and timing of a few World Cup matches will be changed with the venues remaining the same after three ICC full members, whose names weren't disclosed by the BCCI secretary, requested ICC for calendar adjustment. Dates and times of the matches would be altered in order to decrease the gap to 4-5 days.
"Three members have written to the ICC for a schedule change. Only the date and timings will be changed, venues will not be changed. If there is a six-day gap between games, we are trying to reduce it to 4-5 days. The picture will be clear in three-four days. Changes will happen in consultation with the ICC," Shah said.
The 2023 ODI World Cup match between India and Pakistan can be pre-poned after Ahmedabad's municipal police voiced worries about providing appropriate security on October 15, which also happens to be the first day of the Hindu festival Navaratri. The size of the game and the celebratory mood of the religious festival may make it difficult for the authorities to manage the situation appropriately.
Fans and stakeholders who had already made travel plans, including reserving flights and accommodations in Ahmedabad in anticipation of watching the much awaited India vs. Pakistan match, were alarmed by the revelation of a potential schedule change.
