However, a record partnership between Babar and Iftikhar Ahmed helped them post 342/6. Both of them scored hundreds with Babar making 151 off 131 and Iftikhar making 109 off 71 deliveries. Later, their bowlers wrapped up the Bangladesh side for just 104. Both Pakistan and Nepal will now play their next group-stage match against India. While Pakistan and India are set to meet on September 4, Nepal and India will square off on September 4.

What happens if India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 Match is washed out?

In case, India vs Pakistan match is washed off and India manage to beat Nepal in their group-stage match, then both India and Pakistan proceed to the Super Fours stage. However, if Nepal manage to stun India then Pakistan and Nepal will proceed to the Super Fours, chances of which seem minimal given that Nepal are making their Asia Cup debut this year and are ranked 15 in the world compared to India who are number 3 in this format.
