IND vs NZ, Day 4 Weather Forecast: India are up against New Zealand for the first Test of the three-match home series at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. After Day 1 of the IND vs NZ Test observed no play, things looked bleak in terms of the match having a result. However, a dramatic turnaround followed as over the course of the next two days, 679 runs were scored and 23 wickets were taken, with two days of play still remaining.


The India vs New Zealand, Bengaluru Test saw no action on the opening toss as the day got called without even a toss taking place. However, the weather cleared for Day 2 and a dismal batting performance followed by hosts India. The Men in Blue recorded their lowest total at home by being all out for just 46 runs. In response, New Zealand posted a strong total of 402 runs, nearly batting India out of the game.

However, things again took a turn in the match as India too put forward a dogged fightback, posting 231-3 at the end of play on Day 3. With all three results possible for the IND vs NZ Test, rain remains another threat for the match. Here’s a look at the weather forecast for Day 4 of the Test, which is October 19 (Saturday).

Fans can be optimistic on Day 4 of the IND vs NZ Test as there are minimal chances of any rain interruptions. 


According to AccuWeather, there will be only a 2% chance of rain at 9:00 AM IST. However, the conditions are expected to be cloudy with 100% cloud cover forecasted. For 12:00 PM IST, the chances of rain remain minimal at 4% but increase to 7% at 2:00 PM IST. Post that, the forecast for rain decreases as around 5:00 PM IST, there’s only 5% chances of rain, suggesting that the IND vs NZ Test is highly unlikely to experience rain interruptions.
