India vs England Women's World T20 Semi-Final: India women's team have won the toss and elected to bat first.

The finalists of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 are all set to confront each other in yet another epic clash. The Indian eves will face England in the 2nd semi-final of the Women’s World T20 on Friday early morning at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua. India will be looking to erase the memories of a heart-breaking World Cup final defeat last year. To their credit, the 'Women in Blue' have been able to build on that momentum and a fantastic run in the ongoing World T20 is a testimony to that.

India have decided to go with the same team as the last game. That means, there will be no Mitahali Raj in the side once again. After winning the toss, skipper Harmanpreet said, "We batted really well in the last few innings. Mithali Raj isn't playing - we're going with the same team as the last game. We're backing the winning combination. We're prepared enough whether we are playing under lights or under the sun."

English skipper Heather Knight has also decided to deploy an unchanged XI. She stated that they would have batted too but now they need to bowl really well so as to contain the Indian eves within a low score.

"We would have batted too. We're going to have to bowl well enough to keep them to a chaseable total. We'll have to keep our composure but the girls have done extremely well throughout the tournament. We're going in with an unchanged XI," said Knight.
