India beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the second Test at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. While nearly half of the Test was lost to rain and a wet outfield, the hosts found a way to make a match out of it by their aggressive batting. The Men in Blue first bowled out Bangladesh for 233 in the first innings on Day 4 before a record-breaking effort with the bat. India scored 285/9 in 34.4 overs before their lowest-ever first innings declaration.

Then the bowlers came to the party once again. Ravichandran Ashwin picked three wickets upfront, Ravindra Jadeja and Askash Deep scalped 4 wickets in the middle while Jasprit Bumrah's 3/17 helped the hosts wrap up the Bangladesh innings for 146, implying a 95-run target for India on Day 5 with two sessions to bat. There was no stopping the hosts as far as their approach with the bat as they continued the way they had batted in the first innings and reached their target in 17.2 overs losing 3 wickets.

Following India's win, social media has been flooded with reactions, with fans and cricket pundits alike applauding the unprecdented effort from the Indian team to go for the win.
