India All out for 156: New Zealand got India all out for the score of 156 in the ongoing India vs New Zealand 2nd Test at the MCA Stadium in Pune on October 25 (Thursday). New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner bagged his maiden five-wicket haul in Tests as he grabbed 7 wickets giving away just 53 runs in 19.3 overs. New Zealand, who are leading the series 1-0, secured a healthy 103 runs lead on a spin-friendly Pune pitch.


After losing a wicket on Day 1 (Thursday) of the IND vs NZ Pune Test, India fell apart completely, losing their final nine wickets as the Kiwi left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner led the collapse with seven wickets. Off-spinner Glenn Phillips also contributed by taking two wickets.

For India, Ravindra Jadeja was the top scorer with 38 runs, while both Shubman Gill and opener Yashaswi Jaiswal made 30 runs each. Indian captain Rohit Sharma registered a nought as he got out for a 9-ball duck in Pune. Virat Kohli, after registering a duck in the first innings of the 1st IND vs NZ Test, got out for 1 run in the first innings of the Pune Test.






Earlier in the IND vs NZ Pune Test, India’s bowling all-rounder Washington Sundar also claimed a 7-fer giving away only 59 runs in 23.1 overs that he bowled in the first innings, helping India bowl New Zealand out for 259 runs. Notably, 19 wickets have fallen to spin across the two innings in the IND vs NZ Test in Pune.


India's 156-all-out follows the 46-all-out that they registered in the first innings of the 1st IND vs NZ Test in Bengaluru as they recorded their lowest innings score in Tests at home.
