Coming out to bat on Day 2 of the IND vs NZ Test, Virat Kohli could only manage to score 1 run off 9 balls before being bowled out by New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner. 


Virat Kohli came into the second Test after scoring 70 runs in the first IND vs NZ Test in Bengaluru. Although he scored a 70-run knock in the second innings of the Bengaluru Test, he was dismissed for a 9-ball duck in the first innings.

Regarding Kohli's dismissal on Day 2 of the IND vs NZ 2nd Test, Mitchell Santner bowled a low full toss that skidded towards the middle stump. In an uncharacteristic shot, Kohli attempted a hack across the line but misjudged the delivery, with the ball slipping under his bat and crashing into middle and leg stumps. The former Indian captain was dismissed cheaply for just 1 run and walked off visibly frustrated.
