IND Vs WI: India will take on West Indies in the 3rd ODI at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad. India has already wrapped up the series 2-0 after a dramatic last-over win over the Windies, riding on the heroics of Axar Patel.

The 3rd ODI will be a dead rubber and we may see teams testing out new combinations and rotation in the squad. Shai Hope is the only centurion in the series yet in spite of both the sides registering 300+ scores in consecutive matches. This, indeed, states out the depth and starts the majority of the batsmen are getting this series.

However, Shai Hope’s 117 went in vain as Axar scored a blistering unbeaten 64 to snatch another close encounter for India and once again, left West Indies heartbroken as their winless and barren run in ODI continued. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was also full of praise for the Gujarat-based player after his knock.

"Woah that was some performance from team India last night. Bapu badhu Saru che @akshar2026 @bcci,” tweeted the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who is currently rested.

Other Indian players have also looked good in the series, especially Shreyas Iyer, who has scored successive half centuries in this series. He was also full of praise for the current squad and talked about the sheer calmness the players kept during the difficult chase in the 2nd ODI.

"It was fun, to be honest. We were all sitting together, and Rahul [Dravid] sir was getting very tensed; he was consistently passing on the message. I think a lot of players showed really good emotions out there and were very calm and composed in the pressure situation. And since we have played so many matches lately, I think we have already seen all these emotions. It was just another game for us. I think we did pretty well, especially Axar, the way he finished off today. It was an outstanding knock," said Shreyas Iyer.

Arshdeep Singh and Ruturaj Gaikwad are yet to play in the ODI series and may get a nod ahead of others in the 3rd ODI.
