IND vs SA 1st Test: The first match of the three-match Test series between India and South Africa is being played in Centurion. India scored 272 runs for the loss of 3 wickets on the first day. All three Indian batsmen were sent to the pavilion by pacer Lungi Ngidi. At a press conference after the end of the match, he explained how he scalped all three wickets.

Ngidi explained: "I wanted a change in the bowling end after lunch. But all the bowlers have their own ends, so I had to wait. I was struggling a lot at the other end. I had to fight to bowl the ball in the right direction too. Then as I changed my ends, things started getting better."

Ngidi also said: "If you get two wickets in two balls, that means anything can happen."

He also said that if they manage to take 2-3 more wickets the next morning, that could turn the game on its head. Ngidi said, "The ball is going to slip with the edge of the bat. That's a good thing for us. If we are able to stop the Indian team within 340-350, then we can stay in the match."

Ngidi also revealed that Centurion's wicket is not helping bowlers as expected. He said, "South African bowlers are a little disappointed with the wicket. It's swinging too low. I also expected a good swing from the wicket but it couldn't happen."
