India were clincial in the chase after a wicket relatively earlier in the innings and finished the match with 200 balls to spare.

As far as South Africa's batting is concerned, Andile Phehlukwayo was the top-scorer for the team lower down the order, showing some resistance. He made 33 off 49 deliveries. Tony de Zorzi (28 off 22), Aiden Markram (12 off 21) and Tabraiz Shamsi (11 of 8) were only other batters in the South African innings who registered a score in double figures.
