Nottingham: Jasprit Bumrah, India's premier fast bowler got his name up, on the Honours Board at the Trent Bridge Stadium in Nottingham, England. Honours Board is a traditional cricketing concept that originated in England. Every stadium has an honours board that will keep note of some of the iconic performances at that ground.

In the first Test match between India and England, Jasprit Bumrah picked up a 5-wicket haul and made sure the England batsman did not score a mammoth total in the second innings. As per tradition, the Trent Bridge Honours Board has names of batsmen who have scored a century and bowlers who have taken 5 wickets or more in an innings.

In the video released by the BCCI, we are able to see Jasprit Bumrah's name twice as he had got a 5 wicket haul during India's tour of England in 2018. The list also includes the names of Hardik Pandya and Ollie Robinson who got a 5 wicket haul in the 1st innings.

Have a look at the video:

In 2018, when his name was up on the Honours Board for the first time, Bumrah had expressed his happiness by saying, "I'm really happy. My first Test match in England and to be on the Honours Board is always ab good feeling," on BCCI TV.

Virat Kohli's name was also put up on the Trent Bridge Honours Board in 2018 when he scored 103 runs.

Well, talking of the first Test match, it is almost an even contest on Day 5 as India and England could both have a shot at winning the Test match. India needs 209 runs to win the Test.
