Shubman Gill viral: Indian cricket team star opener Shubman Gill was spotted wearing a gold-colored batch when he came out to bat during India vs Bangladesh ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 fixture in Pune's Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Thursday (October 19). The 24-year-old prolific ODI batter was wearing the same gold-colored batch which was awarded to him after being named 'ICC Player of the Month' for September 2023. Notably, Shubman Gill is the first-ever Indian to win 'ICC Player of the month award' twice. The prestigious Player of the month award was bestowed upon Shubman Gill by the ICC for his remarkable contributions during India's Asia Cup campaign and subsequent ODI series win against Australia. 






Shubman Gill scored a remarkable fifty in India vs Bangladesh ODI World Cup 2023 match in Pune. The star opener played a brilliant innings, scoring 53 runs, and was crucial in setting the stage for India's win over Bangladesh in their World Cup fixture. Subsequently, Virat Kohli's record-shattering century further ensured that the Men in Blue successfully pursued the target of 257. Hosts India attained this victory in 41.3 overs, with Kohli sealing the win by hitting a six and notching his 48th ODI hundred.
