The Pink Ball Test match which is being played between India and Bangladesh at the iconic Edens Gardens Stadium is a landmark Test for both the sub continent nations as they become the 9th and 10th Test nation to feature in the newly conceptualized Day-Night Test format.

While it was a historic moment for the hosts India to step on the Eden Gardens turf to  play their maiden test match in front of a jam packed Eden Gardens crowd, there was a major individual milestone achieved by wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha.

Saha effected his 100th dismissal behind the stumps  in Test cricket to join an elite list of Indian wicket-keepers to have achieved the feat. Saha got to the milestone when he took a catch off the bowling of seamer Umesh Yadav to dismiss Bangladesh opener Shadman Islam.

Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni leads the list of dismisals with 294 scalps to his name from 166 innings. Legendary Indian keeper Syed Kirmani is second with 198 dismissals from 151 innings. Kiran More (130) and Nayan Mongia (107) occupy the third and fourth spots respectively.

Saha, who is making a comeback into the Indian team after losing his place in the Test team to the youngster Rishabh Pant, worked really hard on his wickt-keeping skills during his time off due to an injury. He has made a strong comeback into the Test unit after many questions were raised about Pant's ineffectives behind the stumps.

After scalping his 100th Test dismissal, the acrobatic keeper proved his pedigree once again as he took a brilliant diving catch to send back Bangladeshi veteran Mahmudullah off the bowling of Ishant Sharma.
